Education and a Student

EDUCATION AND A STUDENT

I am a student
I stay up day and night studying
Sacrificing every second, minute, and hour
For it is through my education that I feel empowered

You will see my pen form word after word
My thoughts create building after building
My hard work mold the economy
For my hands create the future

It is more than just pen and paper
Not just a ladder for the future
You see, I am not just a student
But a dreamer

The tears I cry have the power to clean rivers
The nights I sacrifice is a step towards a brighter future
The classes I sit in mold more than just my mind
The walls I am embraced by challenged me to go beyond this

You see, I am not just a student
But a creator

Watch as I use my voice, raise my flag, demand for rights
For it is through my education that I decipher what is wrong and what is right
What I know will help better the future of every child in sight
See it that my fist will remain raised as my voice rallies through the streets

You see, I am not just a student
But a fighter

I link my hands with you as a sign of peace
Offering you flowers and kind words
I am not here to romanticize reality
Rather to foster the idea of unity

You see, I am not just a student
But a peacemaker

The words I write have the power to move mountains
Create change that will ripple worldwide
The books I read brighten the future
Morph the path our nation is on

You see, I am not just a student
But the future
Education is a challenge
But at the same time a privilege
The home that creates dreamers, creators, fighters, peacemakers and the future.

Each student
Dreaming of endless possibilities
Creating a change
Fighting for tomorrow
Linking us together for peace
Morphing our future

Education is more than a student
Education is our future
